ENERGAS, a successful example of foreign investment

Energas is a company that has been a successful example of foreign investment for more than 20 years, its partners are the state companies UNE and CUPET and Sherritt International as foreign partner. With an installed capacity of 480 MW in 3 plants, it represents 8% of the country's generation, it also produces Naphtha and LPG that are marketed in the national market. Energas sends the gas to Havana after cleaning it for cooking food for more than 250,000 families, approximately 1 million people in the capital and other facilities. It also cleans the gas at the Varadero plant that improves the environment in this tourist center.
