Mechanical engineer and has gone through different responsibilities from the base, as a project specialist, head of Maintenance, Production and company director, to first deputy minister of the Ministry of Iron and Steel Industry.

In 2005, he became general director of the Electric Union until 2010, when he was appointed head of the Energy Mission in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

Since 2013 he has held the responsibility of director of the Electronics Business Group of the Ministry of Industries, with positive results.
